My Journey
My passion for photography ignited during my childhood, as my mother brought her camera on family vacations. I was in awe at the world through her lens. Following her untimely passing from cancer in 2019, I struggled with profound grief and direction for my life. Despite initially shunning the art of photography, I found solace and connection when I eventually picked up her camera. Each click seemed to resonate with her spirit, guiding me through my journey of healing and rediscovery.
Embracing this newfound purpose, I received my first camera as a gift from a friend, and from that moment on, photography became my lifeline. Through the lens, I felt a tangible connection to my mother, fueling my determination to honor her legacy.
In 2023, I found renewed purpose within the embrace of a local church community. Volunteering as a photographer, I realized that photography wasn't just a passion; it was my divine calling. Every snapshot became a testament to the blessings bestowed upon me, a testament to both divine grace and maternal love.
Since then, I've embarked on an unending journey of growth and exploration, continuously refining my craft, pushing the boundaries of creativity, and capturing the essence of faith through my photographs. Each image is not merely a depiction but a manifestation of gratitude for the gift bestowed upon me by both God and my beloved mother.
